This is the Changelog for the Wikidot.com project. It includes all major changes, bugfixes and feature changes.

2009-11-13

/code/1 extraction URI did not work on hidden pages - fixed. ([http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-194353#post-626155 Original report).
If URI ends in /noredirect/true, custom domain redirection is switched off, letting admins access Wikidot sites with lost DNS names.
Removed the popup "You have no valid security token which is required to prevent identity theft", which was useless and annoying (e.g. if you tried to use Google translate on any page with an input form).

Page saving has been made faster by removing internal waits
First version of cross-site includes is now live, supporting [[include :sitename:category:page-name]] with existing argument syntax.
Educational status is now available on demand for any private site.

Toolbar gave a permissions error when navigating away from a private site - fixed. (Report.)
Focus() added to Tags and Parent input fields.
Emails to newly registered users were confusing, and have been improved.
Clone action mangled autonumbered pages - fixed.
Multifile uploader working for free sites (really, this time!)

Sign-in and account creation was broken on www.wikidot.com and other pages - fixed.
Email notification subjects now separate page actions from comments and posts.
Login was failing on wikidot domain for sites with custom domains - fixed.

Comments module title="" argument now defaults to spaces instead of "Comments".
Comments module was showing extraneous H2 "Add your comment" - removed.
Editors now link to quick reference page instead of full documentation.
Email notification subjects homogenized for all actions on a page.
NewPage was mangling the enter page title - now uses the title as entered.
NewPage cut off page title to 60 characters - now allows up to 128 characters.
Various edit wizards (e.g. page link) now set the focus correctly.
The Page rename function sometimes left the cache inaccurate - fixed.
ListPages updated_at caused an error message - fixed.
If one user replied to a post while another deleted it, the thread was broken - fixed.
RecentComments and other modules could not handle comments by a guest user - fixed.

The Clone action properly sets the title and description of the created site.
The standard Wikidot footer has been updated and improved.
In CountPages, %%total%% now works as a synonym for %%count%%.
The .preview-message CSS class has received a z-index of 1.
When a page uses a non-existent include file, the error message offers a "create the page" link.
