Status: this is just an idea I need help with

I would like to create a community site cataloging DJ mixtapes and their playlists. DJ Mixtapes were a giant form of media that began in the streets of New York. They became so popular that record labels would turn to these deejays to release exclusive music early to give it a buzz in the streets. Mixtapes were instrumental in the growth of hip hop. Sadly there is very little documentation of these tapes and there are many songs that were only released on these tapes. My idea is to catalog them by deejay with tracklists and cover art where applicable
