Status: this is just an idea I need help with

I currently work in homeless housing services in the Seattle area. I find that the resources available for the folks I work with are often shared on an organization level, but frequently it's word of mouth. There are resources available that I'm not aware of, or my colleagues are not aware of that could be changing lives if there was a central repository where people from a variety of organizations could add their services and information. It would help ensure that resources are being fully utilized, and that programs throughout the county can collaborate and share.

It's a project that I've had in mind for a while, but has seemed like an overwhelming undertaking as a private website. The idea of making it a wiki just came up in a conversation with a colleague and it seems like something that I could actually make happen now.

Thanks so much for considering this community page. It's a space I'm passionate about and I think it could legitimately change and save lives.
