Application text:
We would like to create a social learning-knowledge base hub for individuals and organizations to share best practices in the field of conservation travel. What is conservation travel? It's a tactic to advance sustainable forms of travel that provide incentives for local communities and governments to conserve their natural and cultural resources vs. extract or degrade their resources. A prime example is the country of Namibia. In terms of poaching it is the exception on the African continent and over a 100 delegations have visited Namibia to learn about this conservation model.
