Wikidot goes open-source

The software that powers Wikidot.com will be available as open-source. What does it mean? It will be available free of charge for downloading, installing on your own server, modifying and even redistributing.
We hope this will not only improve the quality of the Wikidot.com service (online hosting of Wikis), but also allow creation of one of the best Wiki solutions ever — both in our hosted environment and as the software itself.
