I am trying to create an RSS feed from my site, This seems to only allow feeds from the main forums.
This line "numerical IDs of the forum categories (look at the URL address)" does not make sense. I do not see any numbers in my URL.
How do I find the category number for my forum?
As documented go to the forum category (you do this by clicking on any displayed category on page forum:start) from which you'd like to create an RSS feed and check the URL (the address your browser displays).
It look like this: http://wiki-name.wikidot.com/forum/c-nnnn/category-name where nnnn is the value you are looking for.
As an example go to e. g. http://community.wikidot.com/forum/c-12/bugs-and-problems any you'll see that in this case the category ID is 12.
Is there any way possible I can use a variable within the category attribute for the specific "category ID" number so that I can avoid typing each different ID for (potentially) thousands of pages? (…so that I can put this in a live template)
This code does not work, but it demonstrates what I'm trying to achieve:
[[module FrontForum category="%%category ID%%"]]

i think what rrepp was asking (or at least I am!!!!) is for the ability to generate an RSS feed from a site, and even better from a specific category.
I'm using ListPages to generate lists are articles created with a specific category.
Would it be so hard to generate an RSS feed from that same page the ListPages module create?

Use %%summary%% to show just the summary text? That is what I am doing here: http://hgss.wikidot.com
Otherwise, the ListPages attribute %%preview(200)%% might work — change the number to indicate the number of characters you want to display. I've never tested this with the FrontForum module though.
