Does this module work?

When I type a member's username into the "Who's this guy box" on my site all I get is a pop up error message that says "No member has been selected yet."

Am I doing something wrong?

It sounds strange, but I haven't used the module for ages, and never got it working with the few names I tried. Most likely they joined of their own accord instead of being invited. I think you posted this problem somewhere else and I replied to that one as well, but am not sure where it was.

Either way… I just tried the module on this page (the one we're replying to) and am getting the same error message. Pretty sure the names I'm entering used the MembershipApply module though… as I don't know anyone that was invited to this site.

Will do. Will have to remove you again afterwards, though, due to the nature of the site. Nothing personal! :)

I think you posted this problem somewhere else and I replied to that one as well, but am not sure where it was.

I reported it as a bug a couple of hours after posting this thread here.

Same thing. I put "leiger" in the box, hit the "look up" button and I get a Windows pop up error box with title "The page at http://fizx.wikidot.com says:" and the error message is "No member has been selected yet".

In fact, it's exactly the same as what happen when you just hit "look up" with the box left blank — so I'm guessing that the most likely explanation is that the variable name sent in the request isn't matching the variable name expected by the function at the server's end? Hopefully a simple fix?

Just in case it was a browser issue, I've just tried it with Chrome — say thing (as Firefox). Strangely, IE8 won't log me in to the site, but that's a whole other issue that I don't want to go in to now — I don't use IE very often!
