WIKIDOT FOR EDUCATION
Knowledge is a thing, that no one can take you away. It's the way of making
your life better and understanding the world easier.
We initiated our new project, called Wikidot For Education - a solution for
teachers and lecturers, which extends the efficiency and reliability of
every-day education process. Wikidot.com wants to promote new ways of teaching
and learning, giving new possibilities and tools both for the masters and
apprentices.

PRO ACCOUNTS ON THE HORIZON
We started preparations for introducing Pro Accounts. Beta tests are just about
to start and we will be able to roll out nice extra features that a lot of our
users ask for: higher limits on number wikis created, more upload storage,
forum signatures, secure SSL, automatic backups, web API and much more. Pro
accounts are expected to launch September/October.
RECENT CHANGES ON WIKIDOT.COM
A LOT has changed and improved: performance, security, custom domains
authentication, new login forms, better SSL for wikis and many more internal
changes. We made possible to embed such external media as videos from Flickr,
Vimeo, DailyMotion and Blip.tv, Voicethread slideshows, Picasa albums, and much
