Birth of a Star
I was born and raised in Boise, ID and would like to return there when I graduate from the University of Idaho. I decided to become an engineer when I was 8, and chose electrical engineering when I was 12. I went to Boise High School where I took classes in electrical engineering. I did my first internship at a company that made flashing lights and alarms for work vehicles in my senior year of high school. I then worked the next three summers working on imagers for Micron Technologies. After deciding that I was more interested in power, I did an internship at Idaho Power for a summer, then one more at Puget Sound Energy in Seattle. I am happily engaged to the beautiful woman in the photograph below, and plan to be a married man in July of 2009!

Future
I plan to enter the workforce in the Power Utilities, but will continue to use what I have learned in VAST to feed my hobbies.
