My Wikidot Persona

Well, I spent a few weeks developing a wikidot site, complete with a new theme, lots of css stuff, and about 100 pages of content for our Homeowners Association (42 members).

Having developed on other wiki sites, I was impressed with how well I could make the site look like a done-from-scratch web site, using just the wikidot stuff. But, there were a few things I just couldn't do, and when Michael announced the opening of the wikidot source, I thought it would be the perfect time to see if my old Apache/PHP/mSQL skill would be enough to get the code up and running so I could add a few things that I (and as I read the forums, see that others) needed.

Time will tell. And then again, I'm old enough that maybe time will be a factor in getting this done. Like I've always said, "if I knew how much time it would eventually take to do something, I probably would never start".
