Dorian Pratt (the pseudonym of a very private person) holds a B.A. in Asian Studies and Histroy, as well as an M.A. in Asian Cultures and Languages, from the University of Texas and is currently completing his doctoral thesis at Oxford University.
He is interested in Indian religious traditions, but specialises in Kashmir Shaivism, a "tantric" system developed in the medieval period.
Dorian's writings often incorporate elements of Indian thought and of Indian storytelling.
