I live in Upholland, which is a small country village located between the two towns of Wigan and Skelmersdale.

Just a quarter of a mile up the hill from our home is the Ashurst Beacon green belt park with panoramic views of the Pennines to the east.

The Welsh mountains to the southwest and the Lancashire plains from Southport all the way to Blackpool to the west and north.

The Park has many paths through woodlands as well as many large open meadow areas making it the ideal location to exercise Miniature Pinschers.
