This is the tale of Niflodia, the dwarf paladin's adventures in the World of Warcraft. It is updated on regular basis when something new has happened to the noobish dwarf or when an issue to reflect upon has come up. Massive text wall comming upp - you have been warned….

|Niflodia was (re)born a stormy night around christmas 2005. (Originally she was a magic sorceress in Diablo 2). Her first start out in the World (of Warcraft) was tough, as her Puppet Master had some trouble figuring out to work with a three dimentional character. This ment that poor Niflodia had to take many of her baby steps in corners and behind rocks, before her owner had learnt how to controll her movements.

As soon as the puppet master was able to move Niflodia in desired directions new struggles were waiting behind the horisont. Little did poor Niflodia know that she would be forced to travel the world trough landscapes where she was far from mature enough to visit… Niflodia spent hours and hours in ghost form, most of the time lost of where she was going or where she came from.

To Niflodias owners surprise the little Dwarf still managed to level, slowly but steady. She was making a few friends trough her puppet master, who used to howl for help in the Looking For Group channel at random occations, but most people was high levels and were just social contacts which wanted little or nothing to do with Niflodias struggle to level..

As Niflodias owner got more and more used to gaming, the dwarf started to level faster and faster. One day when she was out in a dreadful landscape, a salty desert, a stranger approached her and said that she was needed in a place called Zul Farak. Little did the poor dwarf know about the existence of instances, but as she was offered to be summoned and had never experienced such a luxury, she decided to take the offer. The meeting with Zul Farak was owerwhelming, even if her session in there only lasted about 15 minutes til someone in the party decided that she still had a few levels to go before she was eligble to enter the grounds. Even if the visist was short Niflodia got the taste of instance running, and after that her leveling was on a boost. Around mid august 2006 she was a proud 58 which was a surprise to everyone including her puppet master and her self.

A bit later that month she stumbeled into an old friend, which she had met in an instance, and the mate said that he had become a member of this great guild - would Niflodia possibly do the same? As Niflodia trusted her puppetmasters friend she decided to go for the offer. By that she became a member of a friendly, fun guild with many nutty persons with a great big heart and a patience of a saint as they somehow seemed to be able to overlook the fact that Niflodia still today spends half of her wow-time either dead or lost somewhere… Yes… It's U N I T Y … ;)
Many moons later Niflodia and her puppet master decided to leave U N I T Y. It was not an easy decision, as they love the guild still with all their hearts. But the guild moved into a system of dkp which none of them approved on, and when forced to be in this system they both recconed that if they had to be dkp whores they could at least be it in a context where all were into it to begin with. So they found a loverly guild called Beyond, where they met very kind and fun people which took them to places more scary and tough to grasp then they could ever have imagined. Of course Niflodia and her puppet master haven't forgotten the friends they've made in U N I T Y, and still keep in contact.

Niflodias younger sister Finnolia also needed to be presented. She was ment to be the uber one compared to her sister Niffie, as being the one who actually could kill some mob with faster strategies then boring them to death. This is actually something she has achieved but now her bigger sister - Niflodias evil twin sister Priestine - has taken the steps required to reach level 70. Just as Niflodia she grew up in another family then UNITY but was supported during her upgrowth by several members of the UNITY family. Nowdays she has moved in with the UNITYs. Unlike Niffie (who are a kind altho a bit excentric dwarf with her love for horde and especially undead horde) and Finnolia (who are sugar sweet despite her affection for deamons), Priestine is a very shadowy existance. Usually she is hiding in her shadowform, waiting to strike with her deadly spells towards any mob in sight. She may be into dwarves but they sure are not into her! She often denies people her healing and justifies with the fact that she wouldnt even heal her self! As such Priestine are "the evil one" but preferes to be adressed the "uber one" (much to Finnolias annoyance as she was the one to fill that role.) Rumor also has it that Priestine and Niflodia has a triplet, which is slowly reaching for the Outland skies.

And yeah… One more thing… It might be added for the
reccord that none of these girls are impressing anyone else then possibly them self when it comes to skills and damage… ;)

Other facts about Niflodia
Horde is hot is Niflodias opinion, simply because they reminds her of her happy days in Diablo 2.
Chaos is her middle name, as she sometimes needs a slack from her responsiblity to play nice and do her healing duties in the way a true paladin would do it. Therefore she sometimes has to follow her impulses to stirr things up a little ;)
Have fun is Niflodias motto, she hates everything that becomes a routine and same old. Maybe that is why she recently have come to love a place called Shadow Labyrinth because of a boss that turns everything into severe chaos!
She is comitted to a friendly troll who captured her years and years ago, when he was in need of a paladin who could save his soul with multiple "flashes of light", blessing of light, a fequent use of all the various paladin auras and some heavy decursing and as much as possible of her Devotion. Pallys can only be assigned to one main mission like that at the time. This means that [Niflodia Love Token] will never drop in a game as the drop rate is about 0.0000000001%. But for devoted and deep friendship there are no reservations :)
She is the unofficial smut police, although she has heard some doubts about her being the right choise of that position
Niflodia has a weakness for caves - She can never resist exploring a new cave when she finds one.
Think before you act is not a virtue of Niflodia. Ask anyone who has seen her rush into the boss and caused a wipe because she couldn't find the stop button… Yes she pulled the maiden of Virtue twice in Karazhan….
She has a puppet master which of course partly lended Niflodia some of her own personality and history, but who also adds personality and history to Niflodia which is made up by her own. perhaps sick , mind… ;) The puppet master and the character are therefore to be separated. The puppet master is the one you meet in guild chat and whispers, while the crazy flirting, often naked and a bit bizzare cartoon figure tagged as Niflodia is the fiction…. ;)
