Theron Schmidt is a writer and performer, currently pursuing AHRC-funded PhD research at Queen Mary, University of London. His writing focuses on participation and community, authenticity and the theatrical, and interventionist performance. As a performer and performance writer, he has worked with Apocryphal Theatre, Barbara Campbell, Chris Goode, Punchdrunk, Rotozaza, Rajni Shah, and Unlimited Theatre. He was a writer with Writing from Live Art, a Live Art UK initiative, and his critical writing has been published in AN Magazine, Dance Theatre Journal, Platform, and RealTime (Australia).
