Hi!

I'm one of the ongoing maintainers of a Wikidot website to serve as a mirror of the rules for the fanmade Tabletop RPG Final Fantasy Legend Edition.

Our Website intends to copy the rules from the 1.1 version of the PDF rulebooks in a more accessible way, set in stone forever, and later to work on ffle.wikidot.com for community updates to the game (Although currently it seems to have been taken up by a bad actor), and on fflr.wikidot.com as a full more in-depth rework of the content.

We don't need much from the plans, but I would like to know if it's possible to get Community status in order to get a SSL Certificate and have the website handle SSL? I also read that is possible to take over an abandoned website. How hard/possible would it be to hand over ffle.wikidot.com to us as well?

Down the line we're thinking of buying the ffle-ttrpg.com domain. Can we apply the SSL certificate to this domain if we use it as the custom domain for our websites (probably using a subdomain on the 1.1 website)?
